The story explained

China Huaneng announced commercial operation of Changjiang phase-two unit 3 on 17 September. This is an archive addition, not an October commissioning event.

Phase two comprises two planned 1.2 GW Hualong One units. Huaneng reports 98.1% domestic equipment content; that overall figure does not establish the localisation level of every valve category.

A 13 October National Energy Administration report adds information on 86 design optimisations, the HAP production-management system and coordinated commissioning with independent oversight. It provides operating context rather than a new procurement notice.
