HTWO showcases modular PEM electrolysis and automated hydrogen-refueling demo
Hyundai's November 4 exhibit describes a 5 MW-class module and ACR-H demonstration; manufacturer figures are not verified operating results.

The story explained
Hyundai Motor Group announced its HTWO hydrogen technology display on November 4, 2026 at World Hydrogen Expo in Goyang, Korea. The November 4–6 event includes production systems and automated commercial-vehicle refueling, both relevant to process equipment and fluid-control interfaces.
The group describes twelve PEM stacks combined into a 5 MW-class module capable of approximately 700 tonnes of hydrogen annually, with a modular architecture scalable to hundreds of megawatts. These are manufacturer statements; the release gives no operating-hours, utilisation or energy-consumption assumptions for independently assessing efficiency.
Hyundai says a 1 MW-class containerised demonstration facility is operating in Gwangju, with further demonstrations being pursued in Boryeong, Buan and Jeju. Waste-to-hydrogen and biogas-based production initiatives are also presented, but their differing stages should not be conflated with operating commercial plants.
The ACR-H automatic refueling robot is making its first commercial-vehicle demonstration, refueling a fuel-cell cleaning truck. The announcement does not establish production-station deliveries, valve suppliers or measured dispensing capacity. The verified development is a technology demonstration rather than a confirmed equipment order.
Why it matters
Editorial analysis: Electrolysis and automated refueling involve isolation, transfer and control interfaces, but the exhibit does not validate specific valve performance or commercial package demand.
