Stage change

A September 30 government report records handover on September 29 at Xianrendao port, followed by system commissioning and operating preparation.

Facility scope

Maximum annual unloading capacity is designed at 6.2 million tonnes. Phase one includes a dedicated berth and four 200,000-cubic-metre tanks, supporting unloading, storage, regasification, send-out and trucking.

What remains ahead

Two additional tanks are planned for phase two. Handover alone does not confirm commercial operation or the timing of expansion.
