The story explained
Flowserve’s October 28 release reports $1,383.5 million of bookings for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, up 14.1% year on year. Backlog reached $3,471.8 million, up 19.9%, while management flagged disruption to revenue conversion in the Middle East.
Aftermarket bookings were $727.7 million, up 11.4%, and original-equipment bookings were $655.8 million, up 17.1%. Organic bookings grew 7.7%; this differs from reported growth, which also reflects acquisitions, divestitures and foreign exchange.
The Flow Control Division recorded $446.2 million of bookings and $411.6 million of sales; pump-division bookings were $940.1 million. Segment figures exclude interdivision eliminations and should not be summed as consolidated totals. These are corporate operating metrics, not new invitations to outside suppliers.
Updated full-year guidance calls for organic sales to decline 2.5%–1.5% and total sales to grow 2%–3%. The forecast assumes tariffs in place on October 1 and increasingly difficult Middle East conditions. Growing orders and slower conversion to revenue therefore need to be assessed together.
Why it matters
