Shanghai Kaigong named for Shaanmei polypropylene valve package

Hualu Engineering’s notice dated 26 October names Shanghai Kaigong Valve as the successful supplier of gate, globe and check valves for a Shaanmei polypropylene unit.

The package supports the polypropylene unit within phase one of the olefins, aromatics and downstream works of a 15-million-tonne-per-year coal conversion demonstration project. Procurement 21030-XJ-PL155, lot 21030-XJ-PL155/01, was conducted through public negotiation.

The package title specifies gate, globe and check valves below 600LB. That rating notation should be read against the original specification, not converted directly into a site operating pressure in psi. Sizes, materials, quantities, contract value and delivery dates are not disclosed.

This is a final supplier-selection notice rather than a candidate ranking, but it does not establish manufacturing completion, delivery or commissioning. Although the platform listing carries 27 October, the signed notice is dated 26 October; the earlier document date is retained here.
